eating

Post  mandywith11 on July 10th 2010, 5:46 pm

hogs will not eat anything but biccies
ive tried chicken mash and veg
mince
chicken veg and potatoes were boiled, mince was dry fried
they have a sniff and thats it
ive tried adding mealworms to the dishes and they still wont touch it
do i need to remove their dry food while giving a treat or leave it down?
could i mix a few biccies in with the treat?

I would just try the chicken on its own cos the veg might be putting them off, only one of mine will eat veg
They all love scrambled egg, i would leave the biscuits in all the time
I heard somewhere to keep offering them the veg etc or stuff they wont eat
as they sometimes come round to the idea and will eventually eat it big smile

all very small peices, kind of like 2nd stage baby food
i can add veg each time i offer another treat and see how they go
ill give the egg a go tomorrow as i really do want them eating something other than biccies
