Treats for the anti mealie hog

Well my new girl Scarlet will not touch mealworms! She is being very good at the moment, still very wary but will quickly come out and explore. I really want to be able to offer her little treats when she comes out (positive association) but am unsure what to try... suggestions please?

some hoglets are fussy about mealworms if they havent had them before, but they normally realise quickly that they are a tasty treat.
if you have no luck try little bits of chicken.

You could try crickets, waxworms (very fattening so go easy), boiled egg, cottage cheese, banana, apple. Also, if you try her on wet cat food and find one she really likes, then ONLY give it to her when handling her. This is a good way of giving ANY treat. Rather than allowing the hog to have them from the floor or from a bowl, ONLY give them from your hand and they soon learn that positive association you mentioned.
