So far my little man enjoys cooked peas and cooked carrots(left overs from roast dinner) and loves melon.

ah thats a good start got one of my hoglets out today and thought he had blood on him realized i gave them red peppers last night to try!!!!!

Penelope loves with a passion, chopped cooked sprouts, and funnily enough it doesnt make her poo stinkier. She also likes peas, sweetcorn, brocolli, swede, etc etc. And she loves uncooked spinach and rocket salad. She really doesnt like any fruit except strawberries and she likes the pomegranite seeds and thats about it for fruit.
She only eats her veg if you chop it up in tiny pieces

Turns out Hamish likes babycorn but pear is most def his fav. Spike taking carrots to bed is funny hee hee!

Lol. Munchie wont eat ANY fruit or veg now. Not even bananna anymore! Pfft. Hes a meat-a-tarian

So far I have only tried my two with mashed potato, mashed carrots and mashed brocolli and cauliflower. Oscar has eaten the lot every time but Heidi only has a little nibble of hers, and I dont think she even touched the potato! I suppose its just down to each hedgies personal tastes.

One strange thing is I tried Oscar with just chopped carrots and broccoli and cauliflower and he didnt touch any of it, yet he gobbles it up when its mashed. I think you've just got to find what works best for your hedgie and keep experimenting until you do!

Id just like to know if hoggies are allowed cucumber?
And I know frozen veg / fruite is allowed but is tinned veg / fruite allowed?

I stocked up on fruit when I brought Fouch home, nobody has mentioned blueberries so haven't tried him on any yet. Are they safe?

I hope so cos Rose and Burdock love them!

Blueberries are a fine and a firm fave with schubert (he drools when he eats them, its quite gross looking when he does it!!)
