well delilah gets her wheel tonight and i currently use kitchen roll in her litter tray should i swap and start using the chinchila sand ???

I dont think it makes a difference, personal preference i would say. I used to use chinchilla sand but i have recently changed to kitchen roll as i find it easier and cheaper to replace. I also found that more of the sand would end up around the zoozone than in the actual litter tray and because of that i was having to change his fleece all the time? Lol, he poops in his litter tray so the only reason i had to change fleece so much was because of the sand.

i stopped using the chinchila sand cos she was playing in the sand and pooping next to the litter tray !!! i'm glad i can stick to kitchen roll

Down to your personal preferance I would say. I use paper based cat litter from finacard for my litter trays.
