Heating at night!

I have a redbulb on all day my central heating is on all night! I have a heated stone in his viv do I need to keep red light on at night also??

i dont but then i dont know, when i get my CHE fitted tomorrow will probably leave that on constantly fitted to a thermostat x

no you dont need to with tenrecs , mine have no heating and no lights , no central heating in there room at the moment , its been as low as 8deg in there room and they are totally fine. in a deep sleep but fine. it will do them the world of good to have even a slight cooling over the winter and they would naturally see a big drop i temps on an eve so turning out the light on an eve is fine , i would keep it on during the summer months though esp if there is the slightest chance they are pregnant as the young are very sensitive to cold until weaned . if they need to warm up they will find the rock but chances are they will not use it.
