the gu glass ramekins

Post  gnj4eva_2009 on March 2nd 2011, 1:03 am

everyone was talking about these nice gu desserts and the plus side they get some nice glass bowls for the hedgehogs as food/water bowls.so in the supermarket earlier i decided id get some to try as not all said with glass ramekins got 2 of the ones that did.anyhow after eating the dessert thought the bowls are quite deep and big.so was just wondering.if the smaller gu things have the bowls in to?as everyone elses seems quite small unless thats just the picture.the bowls i got are abit bigger than ceramics and abit higher than ceramic.would be alright for a adult hedgehog but for a baby hedgehog so say from weaning to say 6 months surely the bowls would be to high/to big for them.initial thought of it was get the nice desserts and then archie has some fancy food bowls which i planned to decorate etc.now im thinking he wont be able to have them till hes atleast 6 months old.might just be me.anyone who eats these what do you think? unsure

Mine were from the lime cheesecake deserts and choc and banoffee cheesecake ones. In fact I'm starting quite a collection! Mine used them from 10weeks on with no probs. Laughing

Both of mine use them without any problems. I got mine from the gu chocolate souffles. Oscar was using his at 8 weeks with no problems Smile

Its weird that youve posted this cos it was only last night that Oinker asked me where I got my ramekins from... Strange! Smile

I blame enola69 for my collection of gu pud bowls lol! They are delicious puds and the bowls are brilliant for the hoggies. Both Pickle and Hale Bop have used them from when I have come home with them as youngsters.

Tesco do really nice creme brulee puddings and they have shallow glass bowls as the go under the grill to melt the sugar. Elvis had got those when he arrives (and lots of spares lol big smile !).

Do you ever think the manufacturers of these puds ever realised how they were helping supply the hoggie world with food and water bowls lol!

I get these puddings anyway as I am a chocolate fiend (don't like the fru ones much) and also felt that the bowls were a bit too high!
