Re: insect mix okay or not?
Fairly sure I already bought egg biscuits for the future hog...think they are in the hoggie chest of drawers in the backroom. Couldn't see anything bad in them when I bought them, and they looked tasty!
I wasn't sure about the egg biscuit from junglegold because it looked like yellow lumpy bits (scrambled egg biscuit!).
I'll take a look at ratrations!

Re: insect mix okay or not?
why not just buy each of the components separately and mix yourself?
i'd be more than happy to do so as i order a lot of live food for me reptiles. i already feed 3 of the ingredients to my hogs and they love them.
silkworm pupae, mealworms and crickets are very easy for me to get home of. and i can get a bulk of earthworms no problem. I'll work out how much i can do prices for and let you guys now. i can just charge exact postage costs then.
if i mix to the same portion percentages to that on their site, the bugs i already use are all safe and as i said i've been feeding them to my animals for ages.

They are the same
The breeder we got my daughters rats from told me about the story. Apparently loads of rat owners/breeders were shopping on the Junglegold website and the owners were getting so much feedback and questions etc from the ratty community that they eventually set up a new website aimed at rats in particular.
All our rats food/treats/toys come from rat rations and I really can't praise the site highly enough!

Just bought some, the 500g type.. postage was only £3.05
I think hogs being insectivores the insects will really do them benefit over any damage that can be done with the radiation

Arrived today
It looks great. Postage was £3.05, on the stamp you could see they paid £3.10 so it was more than fair postage. I can't see any earthworms but I've not had a proper look yet. Going to feed them to my hoggys late on tonight
