Strawberrys and hogs???

hi
as summer comes around our strawberry plants become richer and richer with lovely red strawberrys
this year like last year we have so many that even after making jam and giving some away
we always have some we freeze and even some that go moldy

just wondering if hogs like them and/or if their allergic to them?
never read anything about them being allergic to them before just thought it would make a change for the hogs big smile

Strawberries are on my list of a-okay things to feed. The only concern is that chances are, you will end up with a red hog as apparently strawberries are one of those things that one must froth into a lather and wear rather than eat...at least at first Smile

thankyou, i thought they would be fine and dw, both my hogs are already messy hogs
it wont make to much of a difference im sure big smile

I had a lemon yellow hog after offering sweetcorn and a pink after offering a small quantity of pork eh?!

offered to both hogs, both refused although eugene thought it might be a hat not food
and woke up with a piece in her visor quills

I have a tortoise & he loves Strawberries, however I was warned not to let him have them all the time because they become addicted to sugar.... Not sure if hogs could too

Since I loathe strawberries, we never really have them in the house. Going to try raspberries instead Smile
