delivery and heating

I have two Tenrecs arriving on 29th via a courier. I'm assuming given that their temp needs are different than APH they will not need additional heating during the journey apart from ensuring the temps dont fall below 15 - 19 degrees??

Sorry for the basic questions but as we know info on these guys is few and far between blush

I've been told numerous of times that they can be kept at room temperature and it's not a problem for temps to drop like it would be for a APH.. so I don't see why they'd need extra heating.. Smile

I think it all depends on the length of the journey also tho..

i have seen them kept at room temp, and am now considering taking mine off 24hour heating......

anyways, my original ones came from somewhere london way all the way to cumbria no extra temps. I think they will be fine, they are good at keeping vital organs warm & sometimes feel freezing if they have been asleep
