Cat biscuit brands without fish oil?
I'm struggling to find a large variety of brands which don't have fish oils? I went to P@H and looked at all sorts, science hill, purina etc, even none fish flavoured ones seemed to contain fish oils when reading the ingredients on the back.
At the moment I'm using whiskas chicken and go-cat chicken, as their very close to the 30% protein and 10% fat I've been told is good. Thing is they just say oils and fats in the ingredients and don't specify..so how do I know if the oil isn't made from fish oils?
(along with those two she gets a variety of insects as I have vast quantities of mealies, cockroaches and crickets...she goes mad for a winged male dubai roach and it's a real feast!
. Then she gets chicken when we have chicken, also broccoli and occasionally a couple of peas.)

fish oils are absolutely fine and as you have found, are in most cat biscuits whether fish flavoured or not x

I also thought this... But then I figured it was ok because it is in pretty much all cat bisuits, and I *think* it is a reletively minimal amount(?)

im using whiskers and the asda basic brand chicken one at the moment, they're not only one of the cheapest ones on the shelf at asda but contain the best amounts of protein and fat.. 30% and 10%. i think the chicken Iams is pretty good too but you get alot less for your money quantity wise.

we avoid fish flavoured foods as there have been cases of bad reactions and it was deemed prudent I think as we can cater for them without the need for fish x

I'm also of the opinion that certain species of fish can also be a factor in WHS in APH - which is why I avoid them in kibble myself.
