streaked tenrecs

Can streaked tenrecs be kept as pets? are they commonly kept? is their care any different to the lesser tenrec?

I believe they can & they have similar care needs

However there almost impossible to get hold of

They are available, but they don't live long and they also have a specialist diet of earthworms, which makes keeping them almost impossible and expensive for most keepers. Their jaws aren't strong enough to tackle anything with a hard exoskeleton.
