Mixing Cat Food?

Post  HoggyMama on December 22nd 2011, 9:59 am

I sat for ages on the p@h website comparing all the protein/fat content of their cat foods, and the go-cat kitten with chicken and veg seemed the best choice. Iv been advised to mix several cat foods for my hog, i dont have her home yet and she is my first so im sorry for such a pants question, but if anyone could advise id be very grateful Smile

This post has a list of food and the protein/fat levels.

Go cat is known to be more of a "junk food" cat food because it has cereals as one of the top ingredients. Personally I use a mix of James Wellbeloved Turkey and Rice Senior/Light, Hills Science Plan Light, Purina One Light and Go Cat chicken + veg.

The breeder should give you some of their usual food to last a couple of weeks. It is recommended to switch to new food slowly so they do not get upset tummies.
