Shortest wheel?

Post  rachaelpink on January 9th 2012, 10:18 pm

Hi, I have a Feraplast cage. Ordered a silent spinner but recieved it today and it's too tall for the cage, even if I trimmed the stand. Maybe be able to take it off the stand and use it, but I'd have to cut a hole in the side of the cage. Can anyone recommend a wheel that isn't as tall? How big are Crittercribs wheels including the stand? Thanks

i think larrys wheels are shorter, so are the savic wheels from p@h or the flying saucers are almost flat but take up more floor space

Crittercribs wheel is about 12" tall. So guess as long as you've got 13" of height there would be space for clearance when spinning lau

Crittercribs wheel is much shorter than a silent spinner. I'd say there's a good 2 inches in it even after adjusting the stand on the silent spinner.

Thanks for replies, cage is fractionally over 12 inches so crittercribs wheel may fit. Can I ask what Larry's wheel is and where you buy them from? Thanks

I wouldnt recomend a flying saucer unless you have a very small hog. A bigger hog cannot run on it properly.

I know that the carolina wheels can be rather pricey as they have to be shipped from america. Crittercribz would be a good choice if you dont want to pay that much. I have them and theyr really good.
