Bored hedgehog
I constantly buy Chopper new toys to try and entertain him but he seems to be bored all the time. I say this because his wheel is hardly ever used (guessing by the amount of mess in it) all his toys are left in the exact same position and doesnt seem to pay any attention to them.
He has 1 toilet roll in there, 3 small soft toys, a ball to push around and another ball with a bell in....
I dont want him to wake up, eat, little run in wheel and go back to sleep because he's bored. He used to be up all night running around like a headless chicken playing with everything!
Does anyone else have this too?

Some Hogs are naturally more playful than others. I suggest buying some more toys and rotating their use each clean so he has a fresh batch to play with. Flicky loves balls with bells, etc, anything that makes noise, so she's got several of those scattered around she also has some "soft toys" designed for kittens/puppys, that are light enough for her to carry around, a kong and tunnel (as well as various other bits'n'bobs). She also LOVES it when I scatter some live mealies into her substrate all around the vivarium, this I would highly recommend as it's stimulating for them.

I give both my boys kongs with mealworms inside which they go crazy for and also they love their forage boxes with mealworms and other treats in.

What do you mean by a forage box?
Last night I put a few more items in his viv and he didnt touch them as they in the exact same place, also he didnt even use his wheel last night!

A forage box can be a box/tray with substrate in so they can dig and forage for treats, mealworms etc. It provides part of their natural environment as they enjoy digging and foraging for food. I have used fleece squares with squares of kitchen rol in, also care fresh and finacard, all of which have been a hit with them, especially with Gregory who digs to the bottom of his forage box with everything covering him.

Re: Bored hedgehog
how deep is your forage box?
isn't there a chance the meal worms could escape? my breeder who turns out not to know a lot, told me never let meal worms escape loose in the vivarium?

Re: Bored hedgehog
I use a couple of inches deep of substrate normally in their play pen and there is no way the mealworms can escape from there. In their cage I'm limited at the moment as they live in zz2's so they just have a tray or spare igloo sometimes to forage in. When they don't have their trays they have their mealworms overnight in their cage in their kongs, occasionally they escape into the cage but are normally all gobbled up pretty quickly. Sometimes I will find a mealworms underneath their liner but I clean them out every day so that's no issue at all, as their is no way they can escape from inside of their cage. In a couple of weeks their new vies should be made so I will have much more room so they can have a permanent forage box/tray in their cages.
