[quote="hedgebottom"] mine also have crickets (i stun them first) and roaches (which they love) but again only as a treat every now and again.

Hi i have wanted to give mine crickets but have never fancied the idea of them jumping around, can you tell me how you stun them.

Not sure how you stun them but I think you can get frozen ones. We got some crickets once, never again they kept escaping lol!

If you pop the crickets in the fridge for a while it really slows them down, so makes it much easier to catch them Very Happy

Glad to hear im not the only one with a chunky hog. Mine was on kitten food when i got him (at 6 months old) and when he went to the vets (he had issues when i got him) he weighed him and he was over 600g. I've now changed his food to a more balanced one that my bf uses with his hogs so hopefully he will drop the weight as quickly as urs did.
Monty (my hog) is double the size of Pickle and Branston (my bfs hogs) but then i think they are small for hogs and Monty is big for a hog.
