Fitting a silent spinner into a zoozone

Post  happyhogs on January 24th 2009, 11:45 am

I've posted this as so many people ask whether a wheel will fit into a zoozone or buy one, only to find it doesn't so here's how you can adjust it to fit a zoozone two (large) The wheel is a Silent Spinner, also large.

Take a hacksaw and cut across both supports as tight up to and below the crossbar. File off any overhanging burrs or the stand will not slide into the back of the wheel. Here's a 'before and after' of the stand...

And here's a before and after of the wheel in the cage...

That's a shame. I was thinking of buying a zoo zone. My lad doesn't fit on a wheel so I got him a flying saucer, would this fit into a zoozone cage?

Mmm... We've got the zoozone two and the 12" silent spinner. Our spinner touches the lid and the base even without any stand! This means that moding the stand won't help. Is there a 10" Silent Spinner available?

The next size down is the 8" I think and that is too small for an adult hoggie, what size is the cage?
