It will have a large play area I'm making while I'm at home and awake- 4pm-11pm so it will have plenty room there. Is the cage I've bought going to be too small?? I want to get everything right for my new pet. Advice is very very welcome xxx
Heya, the medium zoozone will not fit a wheel in even if you cut down the stand. If you want I can get some pictures later to show you as I have a medium and a large zoozone and my OH is just in the middle of grinding down the stand. Your hedgie will not need a wheel until 12 weeks old. This is for development issues. When we went away a few weeks back I ended up using a guinea pig cage (bars blocked off with cardboard) instead of the medium zoozone because the wheel just wouldn't fit.

Just a quick bit of info for the people saying they cant get out zoo zones if the lids open...

Meet snowflake
She came about because the owner of her parents left the lid open to fit his silent spinner in and the lid of the mums cage was broken so wasnt on, the male somehow managed to climbed out, went across the bedroom, climbed a pile of clothes and dropped into her cage hahahahha where theres a will theres a way, she had 7 baby hoglets hahaha
theres always one hahahah

Hello
I am a new member and need to ask a question, but I dont know what cage I have bought and can not put a link in here or a link to the wheel I was thinking of getting, so the question now is does anyone know of a forum I can use, to find out the answer, as i dont want to get this wrong and have a cage too small when my hogs get here.

Hi Shelley
Do you have the name at all or perhaps the shop you bought it from? Or can you describe it to us?
The most popular are probably the zoozone 2 cages which has a blue bottom and the clear top. I found the flying saucer style wheel used to fit into this really well.

This zoozone is fine, I had this one before I moved my girl into a viv.
With regards to wheel it is personal preference. I have got a flying saucer, but you can get the 12 inch silent spinners as well. I think that flying saucers look nicer I.M.O but either will do. They must be a 12 inch though
