Won't eat mealworms or crickets

Crunchie just wont eat mealworms or crickets anyone else's hog like this?

my quilson was like this so i never baught meelworms again but when i tried him on meal worm pupe he ate it and he ate a bug so im going to get some mealies for him some time this week =] x

live or dried? Ripley is strange he will eat live mealies but only dried/canned crix - hubbys hog will not hand feed anything but if left alone in a dish will also scoff anything Have you tried mixing them into something else she likes? mince or anything? I guess if she wont eat them at all then theres not a lot you can do maybe try her again in a month or so?

most of them here don't want crickets, mealworms they all like, i only had 2 which didn't like it when they came here, then i just give them none or a bit (depends on the hog) catfood en for the rest ..whatever you want to feed them :P , most of them already eat it on the first time then, some are a little..pigheaded (? says the translater:P) then it can take a day or 2/3 , never had one which needed longer than 3 days.

They are live mealies and had Crunchie a couple of weeks now and nop he isnt having none of them Rolling Eyes

All of mine will eat live ones, some will not eat dried. And some are so soft they will only eat the small ones & are frightened of crickets!

not tried crickets because i dont like them but they love locusts. big smile

Mrs Snuffles will eat anything and adores crickets but Crunchie is like 'I am so not gonna eat that'

ditto...i have to fight them away from the mealie tub as im getting a few out for treats!

my sonic never eats mealworms or crickets only his cat biscuits i use the ones for indoor cats as it has veg in there he is nearly 2 now but hasnt really suffered i think some hoggies just dont like them someone said to try crumbled weetabix if they dont eat the worms i tried everything to temp him big smile
