yes thats fine - I have ones like that just hang the edges out over the zoozone (between the top and bottom halves of the cage) as I'm wary of them getting tangled into the loopy stitching at the ends - I cut it off to go in my viv style cages otherwise

Yes any fleece is fine and there are much cheaper ones around aswell.
I always have loads of fleece so they have a different colour theme every clean out lol.

Yeah you can get them loads cheaper, try places like B&M, home bargains, pound shops, tescos etc. I bought about 5 fleece blankets and cut them to size for the floor of my viv and about 2 layers thick. My hoggy has litter trained himself so I don't have to change mine as much as I thought!

I hand wash mine as it can have poo or muck stuck on it or quills.

Re: Cage liner (fleece)
I just shake all the poops/quills off in the bin or garden and chuck it in the washer. Its best to use sensitive washing powder/unscented powder. I wouldnt use washing up liquid personally..

I shake mine out in the garden and pick any quills out and then just chuck them in the machine too!!! I guess if your going to hand wash them just put a little bit of washing powder in the water and rinse well
