Amos was a podgy 370 grams when I got him in June and since being in my care has lost 100g!!!!
I know he does not eat much which I am a little concerned about but he spends all night in his wheel.
270 is not a bad weight so I am not unduly worried but I would like to see him fatten up a litttle as he was a lovely solid hog when i got him.
I am starting the normal routine of higher fat biscuits etc but someone who breeds hogs that is not a member on here suggested it might be because he wants to breed. Has anyone heard of that happening before??? Or maybe happening in other animals?
Norbs my other male is roughly the same weight however he is a smaller hog so it doesnt worry me the same. When he was paired with wish he stopped eating and went down to 185g but piled it on once the deed was done.
