hard water help please
Ive just got my new little baby but was just wondering if it will be ok to drink tap water that is very hard or would it be best to stick with bottled water any help would be appreciated.

If your worried you could boil it but i think your tap water will be fine x

my area is hard water and i didnt even think of that!! but mine has been fine on just tap water.

Mine have tap water too, I suppose you could always put it through a filter if you were worried

bottled water is generally quite hard too.. it's usually from aquifer so has perclated through the same sort of rocks as the tap water in hard water areas (soft water areas ar generaly from rivers/lakes).. the only real difference between hard water from a tap and bottled "mineral" ie hardness water is the level of treatment the water has undergone.. and chlorine in the tap water.
we have cat who refuses to drink tap water, so we give her bottled water for years, then realised we could save a small fortune by collecting rainwater, which is also softer, still give her bottled from time to time though.. hardness is actually quite good nutritinally with trace minerals esp calcium that we/they need.
