UK Vets for Hedgehogs

hi kiania not sure about canterbury but i know Newnham Court Animal Hospital in Maidstone (01622 734555) does havent used them for hogs but have got my pony under there equine section, but will be using them when my hog gets here this will be about half hour from canterbury. will have to meet up as i'm not far for canterbury (about 20min drive)

I'm not in Kent at the moment - I did find a vet in Ashford (on the recommendation of someone here) for if I do end up in Kent

Sorry to 'butt in' but I have my rabbits at Park Vets who have vet surgerys in Mottingham, Longfield, Eltham, Belvedere, Swanley and a big hospital near Sidcup. (Which I know is more south east london/kent border) - they are very good. And have an exotics vet there. http://www.parkvets.com/

Doh - my bad for not reading the 7 pages in between to see this vet has been mentioned a few times! But I took Rocky in 2 weeks ago and we're going again tomorrow and they have been really good so I can't recommend them enough.

Although APH are not common in Weston-super-Mare (too my and vet's knowledge) Rob's ex vet nurse owned one, and is used to handling and has good knowledge. He has excellent 'bed side manner' and really takes his time to coax out even the grumpiest of hedgehogs! Never had any emergency *touch wood* but they have out of hours on call vet also.

my vets has my 6 rabbits listed there and were great with my late cat smokey they said they take on aphs for check ups if it's serious they can re-fer to a vet that deals with exotic pet surgery and things xxx
