Bisolvon

Has anyone used Bisolvon?

I was given this by my vet on Wednesday but I have not used this due to not knowing anything about it.
My hog is on Baytral at the moment due to a recuring chest infection.

Its a mucolytic drug, it helps clear the resp tract of mucous etc. Used when mucus is a cause of resp tract problems.

If its a recurring chest infection, I would ask for septrin if this doesnt work, baytril is good, but septrin (Trimethroprim sulphate) is good for resp problems (worked excellent in my ferret that was suffering really bad with a chest infection/cough).
Its been used in hedgies and tastes of banana so some even like it!!

Hope that helps wub

Thanks for the reply, I will remember septrin if Baytril does not clear it up this time.
