Viv sizes
Thankyou for the replies
We are building a viv stack, well attempting to, and we got our wood cut for us yesterday, but it's 3ftx2ft. Which is wider than a zoozone 2 but not as long,is this going to be too small? mmmm Might get some more done 4ft x 2ft,
shall I tell hubby, or just go and get the wood and hope he doesnt notice I have spent more money
Thanks
Rach

Re: Viv sizes
mine is 3ftx2ft but its nearly 2ft high so i've put the 2nd floor in where cocos house is
so the whole base is her play and food area
since you will be building it yourself (i built mine ) maybe you could do the same

Re: Viv sizes
ive got various sizes, ive got some at just under 3' x 2' some at 3' x 18" and some at 3'3" x 15"
3 x 2 is plenty big enough for hog and it doesnt have to be very high to add a shelf to give them more room.

Re: Viv sizes
Hi Steven,
Generally hogs are fantastic climbers - they are just lousy at getting back down again and have very little spacial awareness (like lemmings
) if you grip your ramp well (myself and a lot of people on here use lolly sticks) and maybe put a barrier up incase they decide to do the jump of death off the edge you should be fine

I found lolly sticks were too flat, I use wooden dowling for the ramps on mine.
For a barrier I used childrens skirting boards, so ours have star shapes cut out on them, fishes, space men and rockets.
