Chinchilla Sand Bath

Post  little-miss on January 13th 2010, 3:06 pm

Do you think a hoggie could get in and out of this Chinchilla bath. Dexter obviously has a thing for rolling round in the chin dust i use in his litter tray. I did give him some in a seperate tray to stop him rolling in his poop but it obviously got everywhere.

The holes are quite small on them, not sure if he would get in and out easily.

How about trying a larger litter tray? That might work and cheaper to try too

Thats an idea...

I chose something that was a bit more contained just to hold in the mess, but thats definately an option!!

You could ask them to measure the diameter of the entrance ?
I think he will still roll in the litter tray sand though with his poops even if you have the other chin bath, they love that stuff, I used to use it but it drove me mad all the mess they made! lol!

as does Jennie, her babies were using it when I was over at her house and they were fine in the litter tray.
