Dandelions .... Can Hoggies have them?

I give my Torties, Rats and Beardie Dandelions and they all seem to enjoy them, particularly the flowers.
I showed Smartie a flower and she annointed over it, so now has yellow streaks.
Can they have them to eat? I haven't heard of them being poisonous to any animal. My dogs eat the flowers too and I know you can put them in salads
but I thought I should check

im not sure either, dirt and chemicals wise if u wash them it couldnt hurt but if they are poisoness to other animals mayb its not worth the risk?! i dont know thought never heard anything bout them before xx

I dont think they can have dandelions

I have a massive crop in my garden, My rabbit is in a run in the garden and I just shift the run around the garden
and she does her best to keep them down. They are un pee'd on so they are quite good as a springtime/summer treat for my hoards

I think I have read on an American website that they can eat them. As long as they're pesticide and germ free.. Not sure if they'd eat them though, probably just annoint over them

My rabbits eat them all the time, flower, leaves, stalk and all.
Would have thought they would be okay...but doubt they would actually them

judging by rafiki's response to veg and mash, i think they would go untouched i have quite a few in my flowerbeds if any one wants them!

If we get a definate answer that APH's can have them I am willing to supply loads from my garden!!!

I don't see why they wouldn't be? Their safe for every other animal I can think of :/
But tbh I doubt mine would touch a dandelion! Unless I smother it with some sort of meaty-ness
