Hi there, My little hedgie will not touch anything other wet catfood. I have read all the posts about them supposed to be eating dried catfood but he will not touch it. The woman who had him before me tried to give him cat biscuits and he starved himself for 3 days!!!
any ideas?
I am feeding him top quality catfood which is only chicken breast, or chicken with pumpkin... its made by applaws and costs a fortune, its 70% chicken!

Have they tried soaking the biscuits and gradually giving them dryer, adding crushed biscuit crumbs gradually?
Harley had only ever been fed wet food and it took a while to get him to a near normal diet (hes poorly though so tends to be spoilt every now and then)

right heres the situation
the woman who had him before me trued him on soaked biscuits, he wouldnt touch them, she tried mixing the biscuits with wet catfood, he ate all the wet food and left the biscuits, she tried dried only, he starved for 3 days!
so any suggestions!

bash the biscuits into smitherines and mix into the wet cat food starting of with small amounts then gradually building up?
have you tried different brands of biscuits?
what else will hoggie eat? chicken? mince?

I tried him with some biscuits and he liked them... must have been a different flavour that he didnt like before!
