im a kombucha brewer and drinker and have read that a dried kombucha culture is good for pets and was wondering if anyone knows if it would be safe for a hedgehog?

the drink tastes kind of like apple cider (no alcohol), fruit can allso be added for extra fizz
the scoby is kind of rubbery (i have eaten some for a health problem but i was kind of hard to get down)
people to dry them out for dog chews and apparently dogs go crazy for it
its made of very very sweet tea and left for a week or more to ferment
it has many probiotic properties

i have no idea what it is 
but if its very sweet then it may not be suitable for hogs as they should only have sweet things like fruit in tiny amounts. will go google it and see what i can work out

System of a Down aside, I reckon you could give it a go if it's ok for dogs. He'll probably just annoint over it, but being probiotic if he eats some his poo will probably reek.
